SAP ResearchSAP Research Sophia-Antipolis (France) is looking for 2 young researchers, who have recently completed (or are about to complete) a PhD in the area of the Security, Trust & Privacy. The successful candidates will investigate new security mechanisms covering the full lifecycle of enterprise software.
The research activities will focus on software security assurance, automated management of data privacy, and service description languages for security properties, with a particular focus on complex service-oriented systems. The candidates should exhibit strong research attitude and solid software design and development skills.

The Software Engineering Research Group in the School of Informatics at City University London seeks to appoint a research fellow to carry out research in the area of SOA certification as part of the EU Framework 7 project ASSERT4SOA. The research will focus on the use of security certificates as part of service discovery and
service composition processes undertaken during system design or at runtime.

The successful candidate must have a first degree and a PhD in Computing, as well as research experience
in service oriented computing, software specification and verification, and/or certification of software security.
Knowledge and practical experience in Java programming are also essential as well as a proven ability of
publishing research results and working in collaborative research projects. The post will provide an opportunity
for interacting with leading industrial organisations across Europe.
